The Ickworth is fully licensed for small intimate weddings or naming ceremonies.

Private Rooms and Dining

• The Chinese Room: For smaller groups of up to 8 people, why not try our Chinese Dining Room.  Its wallpaper is over 200 years old and if you can spot the designers signature of a red dragon fly hidden in the spectacular design, we’ll give you a complimentary glass of champagne!  It’s ideal for evening dinner parties. (Please note that this room is best suited for evening dinner parties as owing to the age of the wallpaper we are unable to open the shutters during the day).

• The Study: This bright and cosy room is perfect for intimate dinners for up to six people and overlooks the front garden of the hotel.

• Our Boardroom can hold up to 30 people and is ideal for family parties.  With lovely views overlooking the forest at the front of the hotel, we can help you celebrate your occasion in style.

• Fredrick’s, our fine dining restaurant, allows you to show off in style with mouthwatering dishes from our specially prepared menus.

Our team can help you arrange your whole event from reception drinks with canapes, bespoke menus and advise you on the wine to suit the menu of your choice.

Children, of course, are most welcome at The Ickworth – they’ve even got their own menu. Of course, they are free to eat from the adult menu if they wish; they can just have a smaller portion.
