Kick back and relax, The Ickworth Hotel and The Lodge at Ickworth have something for everyone.

The Ickworth Hotel and The Lodge at Ickworth are in the fortunate position of being situated in 1,800 acres of National Trust parkland, which means that you’re never far from breath-taking views or country walks.  Why not make use of your complimentary ticket to the National Trust Rotunda* and formal gardens and all guests have exclusive access to the magnificent Italianate gardens until 9pm. **

If you’re feeling energetic we’ve got tennis courts and bikes for hire too!

And for those rainy days, the hotel has a swimming pool, spa, crèche, games and cinema room.

Children stay free when sharing their parents’ room but if you are looking for some respite there are also interconnecting room available.   If you are visiting with smaller children, don’t worry we’ve got it covered.  We’ve got cots, additional beds, baby changing mats, nappy buckets, bottle warmers, sterilisers and mini fridges all available at no extra costs.

The little ones are also catered for with baby food and children’s high tea until 6pm every day.

All stays include a complimentary session each day in our Ofsted registered Four Bears crèche.  Children up to the age of 6 are welcome for sessions of up to 2 hours (booking is a must!)

During the school holidays, the crèche arranges supervised activities, such as model building and nature walks around the estate to keep the little ones entertained whilst you have a well-deserved break.

The crèche is also happy to lend baby and toddler equipment such as walkers, baby chairs and slings.  There’s even a Bugaboo which is available to use during your stay.  Please call ahead to ensure that equipment is available.

The hotel has lift access to all floors and wheelchair access from the Rotunda side of the hotel.  If you are requiring wheelchair access, please advise reception on your arrival and a team member can help you.  NB.  Parking is not permitted on any part of the Rotunda, guests may be dropped off at the hotel entrance and then cars are to be parked in the hotel car park.
