Enjoy a sophisticated and sumptuous adult-only affair in Frederick's Restaurant overlooking the Italian Gardens or choose creative but simple dishes for the whole family in our sunshine filled Conservatory. Please do book to avoid disappointment; this is the finest family friendly restaurant in Suffolk.

Little Ones

Our specially prepared children's menus provide a wholesome and nutritious option for children at Ickworth.  Exclusive children's high tea is available in the conservatory between 5.00pm and 6.00pm and during peak times we offer an extensive buffet supper.

Frederick's Restaurant

Frederick's is situated in the original Hervey family dining rooms and is the perfect setting in which to enjoy superb food and wines. Our candlelit dinner is a sophisticated adult-only affair – the menu offers modern European cuisine, with a leaning towards the traditional, while the room itself affords splendid views over the immaculately tended lawns, hedges and vistas of the Italianate gardens. 

The Chinese Room, with its original 18th century hand painted wallpaper, is ideal for parties of up to eight diners.

Family Dining

Available from 12 midday until 8.30pm daily, we offer family dining in our Conservatory. Choose from our mouth-watering selection of classic and more contempory dishes.

Breakfast

How do you like your eggs in the morning?  Poached, Scrambled, Fried – no problem.  Serving Continental and Full English breakfast every day in the conservatory, you can eat just the right amount to set you up for the day.
