If you want a romantic meal to mark an anniversary or to bring family and friends together, we can help you plan a personalised celebration
Book an afternoon tea for a baby shower, or add a bottle of bubbly and a massage in the Treatment Rooms to pamper a bride-to-be. We can create bespoke menus for private dining, whether you’re celebrating a birthday with a big lunch party or an anniversary with a candlelit dinner for two.
As a child-friendly hotel, we have extensive family facilities, perfect for christenings, naming ceremonies and family gatherings.
Whatever the occasion, we’ll make it special. Our Events Manager will organise everything for you, carrying out your wishes and requirements to create a unique celebration. If you need a little help, we can also offer ideas and inspiration – just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
Our chefs are always updating our menus with exciting additions and delectable dishes, but if you want something really special we can create bespoke bites just for you. Pick the perfect canapés to accompany your drinks reception, or create a full menu for a large private-dining party. If you want a custom wine list to complement your food, our Sommelier can help you with pairings.
Our afternoon tea is a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion with friends and family. Sample classic sandwiches, sumptuous cakes and, of course, scones with jam and clotted cream. If you’re feeling really decadent, top it off with a chilled glass of Prosecco.
Please do let us know of any dietary requirements in advance and we’ll rustle up something special.
Wonderful for larger parties, the Boardroom can accommodate up to 30 guests. Wood panelling skirts the walls, a chandelier lights the room and the tall windows look out over woodland – perfect for sophisticated drinks receptions and stylish private dinners.
With high ceilings, garden views and room for up to 40 guests, the Library provides a delightful setting for large family get-togethers, special wedding anniversaries, or smaller parties that need a little extra space.
The Chinese Room
For intimate private dining, the Chinese Room hosts up to ten people. Hand-painted 18th-century wallpaper adorns the room, lit with low-key lighting for an atmospheric dining experience. The curtains in the Chinese Room need to stay closed to protect the wallpaper from light bleaching, so this room is best for evening meals in the darker months.
