The February half term holiday always feels like a relief! The dark days of winter are on the wane, the promise of spring is in the air and everyone is ready for a break from the routine.
Getting away for a half term break is a good way to reset & recharge away from the usual routine, having time to focus on just having fun together is really important for the whole family.
Here at The Ickworth we find that 1800 acres of parkland to run around in really helps everyone let off some steam and clear the mind. Bring your bike, trike or scooters, take a running route or just enjoy a family amble at any pace you like. The National Trust adventure playground has plenty to occupy adventurous types too.
Spend some time in the warm waters of the pool or grab some popcorn and enjoy a family movie screening at 6pm every day.
During half term our Den team run a full program of activities suitable for all ages, children can drop in and out to suit your plans.
Remember that this is a break for you too and you can use two hours of complimentary supervised den time each day to allow you time out to do something you like to do too! How good does a pampering spa treatment sound, or maybe a long walk together followed by an uninterrupted lunch?
With flexible options to dine as a family or feed the children early and then enjoy a candlelit dinner for two, we have everything you need for a half term break that ensures everyone feels ready to go again.
