Our region is home to a wealth of talented and passionate producers and suppliers from artisan bakers to brewers, fish smokers and organic meat farmers.
We work closely with these local partners, carefully selecting ingredients to create delightful dishes for our guests, whilst minimising our environmental footprint.
We’re pleased and proud to introduce you to some of these inspiring suppliers and producers:
The Old Cannon Brewery
Nestled in the back streets of Bury St Edmunds is The Old Cannon, master brewer since 1845. They are a true local producer, brewing incredible and popular beers once or twice a week using local ingredients. Brewing is The Old Cannon’s passion, constantly experimenting and trying new recipes and it pays off. Their beer will compliment any situation; from summer lounging to a delicious dinner with friends.
The Pickle House
Having first been introduced to the idea of drinking pickle juice whilst in New York, Florence Cherruault wanted to create a recipe that was specifically made for cocktails and smoothies. After many months crafting the recipe, they launched their first product in 2014 - The Pickle House Original Pickle Juice which is produced right on our doorstep. We’re delighted to have teamed up with The Pickle House and Sapling vodka which combined makes the best Bloody Mary you’ll ever taste!
There’s a fantastic variety of wines grown in the East of England thanks to the warmer and drier climate. The family-owned vineyard at Giffords Hall produces astonishing wines. Each vintage is carefully produced in small batches and it’s not surprising they have received a number of outstanding awards. Fantastically all of their wine is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It’s certainly worth popping a cork from a Giffords Hall bottle!
Near to the Suffolk coast Blythburgh rear ‘happy’ pigs. Their welfare is at the heart of what they do and they’re renowned for rearing free range quality pork. Their results guarantee our guests can enjoy the most succulent and flavoursome dishes.
