Take afternoon tea in the elegant surrounds of The Ickworth, following in the footsteps of the English gentry before you.
Equally suited to a special occasion or a ‘just because’, afternoon tea is a ritual that’s been in fashion for centuries. Here, it’s done in style, with homemade treats and a generous tea menu containing everything from traditional breakfast tea to decaffeinated berry (or a glass of fizz, if you prefer). Book online at the top of the page, or call 01284 735350.
Open to both adults and children, afternoon tea is served from 12pm to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, and from 2pm to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday in the Conservatory, Drawing Room, Library and Terrace, set within our atmospheric walled garden.
Beatrix Potter-inspired afternoon tea
We’ve designed an 'edible garden' afternoon tea to celebrate Beatrix Potter’s wonderful stories and illustrations. Grown-ups and little ones will love touches like Mr McGregor's stolen vegetables, Jemima Puddle-Duck's mini eggs, and even a Peter Rabbit made using the gingerbread recipe from Potter's own recipe book.
At £25 per adult and £12.50 for children, the Beatrix Potter-inspired afternoon tea is available until 20th September.
